MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness, when practiced consistently, has the power to physically change our brains in a very positive way. These changes improve our ability to recognize and influence our mind-body relationship.

Why does this matter? Because research has shown that individuals who practice mindfulness regularly report improved quality of life, greater happiness, and even greater productivity. Migraine sufferers who participated in an 8 week mindfulness course reported decreased level of disability, improved self efficacy, and quality of life compared to those who received migraine education alone (Wells et al. 2021).
